| What is the best way to send money home? I have been here for 4 months and haven't done it yet. Any and all suggestions would be most helpful. I have a Bank of America account in the states and I can wire it or there is an online currency exchange, but I don't know exactly how that works. Western Union, just get a check from my bank and mail it home...so many options. I want to save the most money and spend the least in transferrring fees. |

| Open an account here with one of the banks and wire it to your BofA account. |

Take your BoA account information inside your K-bank and get it registered for overseas remittance. You may have to make an initial wire transfer in order to do this. But after that, certain banks (not sure which ones offer this service), will have your account info added to your ATM transaction selections and you'll be about to make transfers right from the atm machine.
But you have to go inside and set this service up. Set up web banking while you're at it and you may be able to do transfers online. |
