I'm giving an account of this event no more than 15 minutes after witnessing what transpired. I hope that if anyone finds this transcript, they will realize how great life can be and that if I have died, it's cause was laughing.

Today, my co-teachers desk had a package, a gift bag sort of thing. She claimed to not know who it was from, but students and parents give out presents (read: bribes) to the teachers from time to time and so neither of us thought much of it. Two periods later, she removes the contents from the bag, revealing a smaller bag with hearts all over it. No card.

Opening that bag, she discovers a plastic dolphin with two AA batteries. Spinning it in her hand, she finds a door in the tail that reveals a battery compartment. She inserts the batteries, closes it up and fiddles with the fins, inadvertently activating the device.

Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

The dolphin vibrates like someone just fed it a fish. My co-teacher looks surprised, then delighted. Noticing me trying to hold in my laughter by all that is holy, she immediately starts rubbing it on her shoulder, claiming it's a massager. She then shows it to all of the office ladies, almost all of which have a similar reaction to myself; Stifled laughter. We all begin to realize that she honestly thinks it is a shoulder massager, showing it off to everyone.

The art teacher comes up to my Co and says something in hushed Korean. My Co gets a horrified look on her face, turns bright red and slinks out of sight. about 5 minutes later, I walk be the trash cans and notice the dolphin in it, batteries stripped, dead before it ever realized it's true purpose in this world.

You'll find her dead under a subway train tomorrow. The loss of face will be too much for her to handle.
