Hi All,

Apologies if this is a repeat of another thread.

Are Villas generally cheaper (better value) than Officetels? If so, why is that the case?

Also, would love to get a sense for their relative positives and negatives and firsthand accounts from those who've experienced one or the other.

villas are cheaper and older. you tend to find them more in back alleys than officetels are. villas also tend to be a bit bigger compared to officetels of a similar price.

officetels are newer and more pleasant (big windows, often a view of osmething other than another building) and usually have less broken appliances. they're often on main streets rather than in back alleys, but tend to be a lot smaller than villas.

overall, i preferred living in a villa.
