| If you have international roaming they should work. My Korean friend came to visit when I lived there and had no problems. Not exactly sure if she had roaming though. |

I think it depends on your phone.. if it can connect to the band.
Mine worked in Taiwan. Once I turned it on it spammed me with messages letting me know that I indeed could use it and that it would charge me if I did (though receiving texts was still free). |

| I have a crappy little KTF one and it worked fine. In fact annoyingly fine as I was wandering around trying to find the hotel I booked people kept calling me from K-ville. |
