The wattage on these adapters is universal. Just get a plug adapter and you'll save a lot of money.

They should be available in about any international airport or major electronics store.

I bought mine at the local Costco type store (besia) for about 2 USD.

If you are really cheap or desperate just file off the wide parts of the one prong and tada, its international.

PS Mac is evil.. hehe

If you need a new power cord, they are very expensive from Apple. I broke mine and ended up finding one much cheaper on eBay (shipped from China). I would try this first. I highly doubt anyone would have an extra one.

Be careful though, the cord on the one I bought is very short (and very annoying).

cool, didn't think about that... will give ebay a look.

surprisingly, i posted a similar request around christmas last year and got lucky, finding someone who had an extra one they didn't use. might not be as fortunate this time around.

girlfriend's adapter crapped out about a week ago so i thought i'd roll the dice here before purchasing one from apple.

thanks again.
