I have 3 questions for the people on the board.

First of all, I've been looking for a new school to teach at and I went for an interview about 2 weeks ago. I thought that the interview went well, but even after a week, there was no reply of any kind, so I emailed them to see what was going on. After about 2 says there still was no answer, so I texted the main teacher whom I had the interview with. Again, there was no answer, so I emailed and texted again, along with trying to call, but to no avail. So my question is, is it safe to assume that I've been rejected from this school and move on to the next one?

Second, I've been having a few problems with my current school recently and am on slightly bad terms with them. Is it possible that this school is trying to blackball me and giving bad reputations about me to other schools?

Finally, I've been using few different recruiters to search for my next school (as I should be), but the school that I can't seem to reach called me out of the blue, so I have no idea which recruiter introduced me. How can I find out discreetly which recruiter recommended a job? Or at the very least, what would be the polite way to ask the recruiters which one has been doing their job and to move on to the next school?

1. They are interviewing someone better (what ever dubious quality they judge you by). They might comeback to you on the rebound. Don't hold your breath.

2. When a NET says 'bad', Koreans say selfish *&^%&. Blackball is a little strong a word for what they do. More like they are not going to do any favours for you. They might help you to land a part in "Nightmare on Elm St."

3. Bugger the recruiter. Negotiate directly with the school. If the school don't have a co-teacher that can read a contract and interview you, then why would you go there?
