Hey all,
I'm in my final few weeks here, and I want to get rid of some used clothing. Does Korea have anything like a Goodwill service? If so, how do I go about contacting them?
Also, I have seen what looks like used clothing deposit boxes at larger apartment complexes (here in Yongtong, Suwon they are green). Are those boxes actually for dropping off used clothing? If so, who does the donated clothing go to?
Thanks |

Hi,
You could post about it here and then maybe the first to pm you and pick it up could keep it?
I am not sure about the boxes, heard of a new flea market in Seoul along the grapevine but this would need confirmation.
Anyone know? |

| Those large boxes are indeed for clothing, linens, pillows, and things like that. As to where that stuff ends up; I haven't a clue. |

I doubt it ends up being reused. Have you ever seen poor older folk wearing anything other than the standard issue Ajjuma/Ajjoshi uniforms. Which are pretty cheap in any case. |
