Are you still living in Raleigh? I went to school in Chapel Hill and had a lot of friends that went to NC State.

Very few. I've been using those plug-in things at my home and the really do work.

What I hate worse than the bites is getting woken up at 4AM by one buzzing around my ear. The mosquitoes down here can be VERY loud.

You've also been here for a long time. Your blood probably taste just like Korean blood by now. I'm a newbie so my blood taste a little sweeter I guess

Usually 5 to 6 at any one time. Yu_Bum_suk is right to a certain degree. The plug in works great most of the time, but if I open my balcony screen door for 1 minute, the little bastards get in. They bite at a rate of 6 times per nanosecond, so you need to kill them right away.

The bites I receive are nasty. They sometimes swell to astronomical proportions and can last for a week. These babies are much worse than N.A. mosquitos.

Perhaps. Last week I was out with BS Dos sitting on a pub patio for an hour or tow and the mogis were all going after him and not me (I've been here 2 1/2 years longer than him).

Unfortunately one of them still found my right knee tasty enough to leave me scratching it all week long this week.

0 mosquito bites, no mosquito repellent used.

It's really disgusting to see Koreans with red welts all over their bodies.

I might have one or two, but for the life of me, I'm trying to figure out why I am finding or hearing one a night. Just one. Sometimes the bug will buzz my ears, I splat my ear, it hurts, I wake up, hunt the bastard down, squish it, finish my sleep and do it all again the next night.

I feel their all in a little box being let out automatically one at a time every 18-24 hours in my little apartment. Funny. Smile

Mosquito nets for your bed cost about 16,000 won, take about 3 minutes to hang up, and work great!
