What size monitor and what version of windows? any video card?

I may have jumped the gun in posting my add. The computer is not working well again. Here's the story: Was unable to boot for a while. Took it to the shop and suddenly it worked fine (got the reformat advice). Took it home and again it didn't work. Took it to a second shop and he got it working, but says there seems to be a problem with the connection between the motherboard and the hard drive.

The bottom line is that I can't sell it in good conscience as a working computer since it is very erratic right now. At the same time, I don't wnat to invest in repairs. I would be happy to sell it very cheap to someone who wants to take a chance on it, get it repaired, or just wants some of the parts. Just make an offer I would also consider selling some of the components individually, but would prefer to just get it all done in one shot.

Oh yeah - Windows XP, 14 (or 15?) inch monitor (I think... not very big - standard size on older models and not flat screen), and I don't know about the video card. Sorry, I'm not very tech-savy...
