Belittling Co- teacher- The Co-teacher who spends most of her/his time undermining your authority. Likes to remind you all hours of the day how shy the students are, and how important the exams are. Gets upset if you try to impose any authority in the classroom. Tells you just to have fun with the students and play games like hangman, Pictionary and Bingo.

Preoccupied co-teacher- This teacher is most likely a Head Teacher with hopes of a promotion around the corner. This one frequently askes to be excused from co-teaching and sometimes simply doesn't show up. This one never makes time to discuss teaching methods. This one is actually sometimes a blessing in disguise for people who can manage a class alone. For newbies off the plane a nightmare.

Married to the Textbook- This one will not do anything that isn't in the textbook or on the Exam. If you give them a good handout from Andrew Finches book it most certainly will end up in the re-cycle bin.

Drinking Male Co-teacher- This co-teacher is indifferent to what you do in the classroom and just always wants to meet you after class for drinks. This kind has recently become an endangered species but in the early days of Epik was a garden variety

The Grammar Slammer- Asks you all kinds of difficult grammar questions.
Is known to put questions on the exam that are really difficult for University English majors to answer

married to the textbook is the worst, especially when the textbook isn't particularily stellar.

You forgot the backstabber..

The Backstabber- Always smiling...always pretending to be nice. But underneath lurks a sinister being waiting to slip the knife in between your shoulder blades.

Usually a card carrying member of the KTU.

Their way of reducing their paperwork is getting you fired pure and simple.
