... is driving me nuts! I've tried installing it on three different computers, to no avail. I am able to download the setup file, but when I try to install it something weird happens. The powerpoint viewer icon appears in the programs list, but it just doesn't work. Anyone else have this problem? Are there any alternatives that would let me run a ppt made on Powerpoint 2007?

Please help!

Download and install the free OpenOffice.org.

Thanks CC. I thought about trying OO, but assumed it would screw up the formatting. I'll give it a whirl.

Is anyone using Powerpoint Viewer successfully I wonder?

I've got it working before. In some of the classrooms at my old school they had PP 97 installed which boned anything slightly neat I tried to do. Anyway, have you tried right clicking on the file you want to open, then going down to open with=>choose program and picking the ppt viewer out of the list? Thats the way I recall using it.

Thanks Gaber. Unfortunately that also didn't work.

But I have found something which seems to work really well. Go to a famous torrent site and search for Microsoft Office usb. Hurry because it looks like this site may be a sinking ship!

Download it, extract the zipped files and you're ready to go. I've only just started playing with it, but all seems okay. I will post again if I encounter any problems with it.

Sorry if this is newbish but I did a quick Google search and Microsoft has got a PPT 2007 viewer. You may be using an older version of PPT viewer? Here's the link http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=048DC840-14E1-467D-8DCA-19D2A8FD7485&displaylang=en
