Hi,

Does anyone know if they provide the 900k up front i.e when you first arrive or does it come in your first paycheck. Just wondering in terms of deposits etc.

I'd imagine it's monthly - it's not a lot for the amount usually asked for upfront for deposits.

They give you 900,000w per month, on the 1st of the month, it may come earlier, it jsut depends on whether teh 1st falls on a wekend or holiday.

Basically, they give you 900,000w for your 1st month hoiusing deposit, plus a 900,000w advance. that way, people who are renting apartments can have enough money for the 1st month rent and the 1 month deposit. The advance is taken out at the end of the month for your first paycheck.

The housing allowance is paid by the district, and your regular salary comes from your school.
