| Go for a love motel. Google those and Busan and see what you come up with. They should'nt be more than W50,000/night and are usually quite nice |

Agree with my fellow tarheel on this one (not the team, but the state..go PACK)
I used to hang out in Haeundae quite a bit a few years ago,and I can tell you that many of the motels around there, just a block off of the beach are pretty dang nice..considering the fee, quality or room, and location. Many of these motels look less than desirable on the outside, but when you get to the room itself they are VERY nice.
But finding one in Haeundae around 50,000 during the peak of summer and summer vacation for almost every college student in Korea might be a bit difficult. That place is crowded like crazy this time ofyear, and of course room rates are most expensive now than usual.
50,000 seems pretty cheap for Haeundae, even in the winter. |

Well it's funny when I look on the website that it shows prices between 30,000 and 50,000... when I call, it's a different story. Hmm. Alright. Well I hope this thread doesn't die here. Hopefully I can find something near the price I'm looking for, if someone would be willing to help me out by searching?
Thanks guys! |

http://motelice.com/ -- Ice Motel
1 block from waterfront
Regular room is 40,000 per night - 50,000 for Fridays, and 60,000 for Saturdays/Weekends holidays.
Includes 32 inch wall mounted TV, open shower room, internet and DVD.
Next highest level room is 50,000 per night, 60,000 on Fridays, 70,000 on Saturdays/Holidays and include options above plus larger tv (42 inch) air purifier, surround sound speaker system, and whirlpool tub.
I understand the people try to raise the rates that are different than what is posted on the website. If you have a Korean friend who can call..I would suggest that they do so,and if quoted a rate higher than what is on the website, let the Korean explain that they chose the hotel because of the info on the website.
One other note is that this one included the bank account for the hotel, so that you if you reserve online in advance and pre-pay, you are likely to be able to pay the rates listed on the website. Although it would not be surprising if you did this, then upon arrival at check-in, they see you are a foreigner and try to tell you that the website is wrong and you need to pay more, but would certainly be a much bigger issue than quoting you higher rates over the phone before any money has changed hands. |
