I'm getting this weird "we can't transfer money to your canadian account" line from my school. Has this happened to anyone else? As far as I know I won't have access to my Korean bank account from Canada, so how am I to be expected to get my money?
I can foresee that the solution will involve my pesistently and patiently repeating myself for the next 7 weeks. |

Another idea is to get a plane ticket home a month after your contract finishes. You will have to make sure you have time on your visa, so extend your visa which won't be for working. It will work like a tourist visa.
This will give you some extra days to settle payments and you can then be sure when you leave, you leave with money issues sorted. If you really don't want to wait a month before your flight, then you could always get the plane ticket 15 or even 7 days after your last day. |
