I have been in Korea for two years at the same Hogwan but I think it's time for me to move on and find something better. The school I am leaving is not bad, especially for beginning teachers, but now that I have some experience, I think I can get a better deal somewhere else.

My question is what are some ways of looking for a job that I may not know about. I know about Dave's (of course), WorkNPlay, English Spectrum, and KoreaPot. Of these, Dave's is the best job board by far, followed by WorkNPlay and I find the other two pretty worthless.

Any websites I don't know about? Any other methods (employment offices, etc) that I should be aware of? Anybody have good jobs they need filled by an experienced teacher Wink ?

The job I am looking for would pay 2.6 million or more (2.6 is what I'm getting now and I don't want to go down) and be at a reputable school somewhere close to the Seoul Metro area. Suwon would be great. Also, I need it on August 20th...

If anyone has any ideas, send them my way.

Even without a weaker economy and this new influx of teachers landing a desirable, higher salary position has usually been about connections and qualifications. Most of the posts on the sites you already mentioned are the less desirable jobs reserved for the newbies or the lazy. Chances are slim you will find what you're looking for there. IMHO the best way to go about your quest if you lack the necessary connections is to send your resume with an excellent cover letter and at least three references (hopefully in Korea) to places you'd like to work.
