Pretty general question here, but I have a week in August from the 8th-16th, and don't know where to go. I've already been to Thailand and Borocay, but am a big fan of the beach. Any recommendations?

What's up with these crappy vacation start/stop dates? You get only one weekend in there? Also, you should have posted this inquiry a week ago. You could have gotten some great advice and would have a good head start.

But anyway....My advice: stay in Korea and travel around. There are plenty of great places in Korea you can visit. You can also do a lot of activities all over.

I appreciate the advice, but I have been in Korea for 3 years now, so staying here is not an option. My vacation has 2 weekends in it, I have the week of the 10th-14th off, which I booked, so I technically have the 8th( a Saturday) to the 16th (the following Sunday) off. I will probably be traveling alone, and am a big fan of nice beaches and cheap drinks. I was thinking of going back to Boracay because I had so much fun there the first time. I was also debating Bali or Vietnam.

I want to go somewhere where meeting other people who are in party mode is easy to do.

Anyone else have any advice?
