I know I am. How about you? It's probably not healthy.

Your honesty is admirable.

So please answer this question honestly.

Did you used to post on this website using the user name Otis?

Otis was a legend of Dave's ESL Cafe. How is Bill doing these days?

Ideally, when you are starting out, you need to limit yoself to no more than 3 posts per day. Any more, and you look like an ModEdit.

eslcafe is a boutique niche market message board.

If you are addicted, go over to Twitter where you can spam away all you like.

Yeah, I'm addicted, but I don't post a whole lot. I find that once I find a decent forum that's somewhat interesting, I can get rather addicted to them. It's a problem I have. Smile

Used to be, but it has become less and less interesting as people I know have gotten banned and left for elsewhere.

I like to wake up on a quiet morning and check out what's up with people. I go online to my 'home city's' newspaper, but there's no feedback or debate with that - just reporters telling you stuff (that may or may not be the 'full story.') Property site gets boring and can look at the cars that I'm going to buy later on the sale sites, but what's the point of that.
Nah, it's alright a bit of the psychological etc that goes on in these forums.
Sometimes it changes my mind. Sometimes not.
Sometimes I can say my piece - I also like to 'talk' about myself, who doesn't.

Typhoon coming - sweet. Temperature's gonna go down.

Don't be too sad Bass. People come and go. Anyway, it's just nomdeplumes - are we even real?

i've come to the point where I check all the newer posts in job, current events and general discussion. When I first came to this site it was to do research about working in Korea, now I check it frequently for entertainment value.

I will usually get addicted for a couple weeks, then all the topics start to really suck, and i'll lose interest. Which is where i'm headed right about now.

One thing about Dave's is it can give you a really negative view about Korea. So it's good to stay away sometimes. This site can be a real bummer. Lots of people slamming everything and talking nonsense, and not much cool stuff coming up.

Unless you are one of those sad, angry, individual who has no friends in korea, there is no reason to be addicted to this site.
