Just an FYI. I saw Tums at Home Plus yesterday. They are in the supplement section. They are about 10,000 won.

If you have heartburn, you can drink a capful of any kind of vinegar. It neutralizes the acids pretty much right away.

Sure, it is not convenient to carry around a bottle of vinegar, but if you are home, it will work just as well, if not better than TUMS.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Baking Soda. 식소다. That's what your grandpa's dad did for an upset stomach. 300 won at the corner store, not 10,000 at Costco.

I use C-Trid.

There's a few brands of pretty good heartburn pills in Korean pharmacies. They should have Ranitidine as the active ingredient. Ranitidine is an acid inhibitor and is a far better solution than antacids (Tums).

Ranitidine is the active ingredient in 라니콤. I actually haven't tried them yet to be honest. I had a friend show me which ones to pick up to keep them on hand, but just haven't needed them yet.

It works. Just mix it with water so you can bear it.
