from my limited time here in korea, it seems that western comedies don't make it across the pond. i know that even some cities in america banned borat back in 2006, so i can see why bruno won't make it. anyone know if it's coming here? if so...where and when? Smile

A comedy based on an ironical flaming homosexual fashion reporter.........I don't think it's got "Made For Korea" stamped all over it. Laughing

Like anything else, if the media get a hold of it, Koreans will line up for it.

Bruno wouldn't be considered a comedy in Korea.

Does he dance crazily, dress like a woman or dress up in black face? I don't think that movie will make it here, unless those criteria are met.

So, does anyone have any updates on this?

I've been looking around but I don't see it playing anywhere. I'm having a Korean friend check up on this today but I'm not hopeful.

Borat was shown here in theaters.
Many western movies come here but not at the same time they come out in the US because the movies must be subtitled in Korean that's why it takes additional time. It might take a little over a month.

I remember when Borat was released, they kept changing the real release date because translating his jokes must have been a nightmare for Koreans.

Don't worry, it will come here just be patient or find a bootleg!

I listen to a couple of Vancouver radio stations and it is supposed to be sooooo awful that one DJ sent his mother to review it instead of himself and she gives him hell about it on air.

it's not actually a part of the film, it's in the song at the closing credits!!

now if i wanted to spoil the film i would have just said the funniest part is when he goes to the..............BANG, BANG......Who the hell is shooting at me???okay i will stop!!

the film is really good, it's l=not going to win an oscar, but it's awesome if you like cringe worthy moments like in borat or the office (the real version not the american one, i can't vouch for the cringyness of the american version cos i turned it off after 2 mins of its patheticness)

yes, i do believe cringyness and patheticness are not real words

I think Sacha BC is an absolute comic genius!
I hope Bruno does make its way to a screen near me......
