This is real. The only catch is you have to be a student at a certified Canadian University.
Microsoft is also offering this deal to US customers.
I was about to buy it, but we have 2002, and that's good enough for our needs. |

I think it comes down to Microsoft realizing that well educated people realize that their products are overpriced. On college campuses Microsoft is suffering from competition from OpenOffice and Mac's more affordable iWork. I would rather use either of those programs than Microsoft's office products. Plus I kind of hate the new 2007 interface and their default incompatibility with older products. MS Office is becoming outdated and a pain to use. |
