so i've been in yeongdeungpo for a month now, and the only substantial mart that i know of in proximity to me is lotte mart....but the selection/prices suck. does anyone know of an emart, homeplus, etc. near here?

There are two stores near Sindorim Station (Line 1 and 2). The Emart is attached to the station and located in the adjoining Technomart.

Across the street on the Sindorim-dong side of Sindorim station is a Homeplus.

Mullae Station (Line 2), has an adjoining Homeplus attached to it. (This is the one I prefer and I think it has the best selection).

Costco is also nearby, only a 5 minute walk from Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Station.

Walking directions to Costco:

From Yeongdeungpo-gu Office Station (Line 2 and 5), go out exit 2, take a quick right. Enter the park and walk through it to the rear of the park (keeping the main street behind you). At the rear of the park, keep walking straight in the same direction as you are moving through the small street in front of you. After a few minutes, you'll see a green officetel building called 'Park 365'. The Costco is almost across from there.
