| Hi~ leaving for the USA for summer vacation. Have seen lots of stuff for mobile internet back home...but need contracts, etc. Anyone know about something I can get from Korea? I'm headed to the boonies where a lot of people still use dial-up modems and my own mom doesn't even have internet access (nor a computer for that matter). |

I know~
Mc Donalds also has free access. I just have a bad battery so I sneakily plug my computer into one of their plugs. Just dreaming about using something like MiFi! |

I think there are some pay as you go data plans in America, but you have to buy the wireless modem, and they typically are limited to select major cities, like Atlanta and Las Vegas.

Once you get there you could ask your local cellphone providers if they offer a pay as you go 3G deal. Maybe you could just rent a 3G USB modem or something. |
