I don't know if this will get much response. It would be interesting perhaps to hear from the well-traveled and those who have lived in a few different countries. You could mention some things you've perceived that strike you as similar and different between two or more countries.

I'll start with one some people will know, using Korea and China, nothing amazing, just observations.

Difference:

Chinese guys like to show off their guts. They may be shirtless, but probably more common is the halfway-up shirt, often showing a big gut. It aint pretty but in hot weather you cannot avoid the sight. Now I've been in China less than a year, and spent many in Korea, but not once did I see this in Korea. Years ago an Australian friend in Korea told me once he was sitting by himself, a good distance away from anyone else, in a park area in Seoul on a hot summer day. So he decided to take off his shirt. It didn't take long for some Korean guy (maybe a cop?) to tell him to put his shirt on. I've heard or read about Koreans being a bit shocked or surprised in other countries upon seeing shirtless males.

Similarity:

Easy one: noise. Far as I can tell both China and Korea seem to love noise, or else the cities are just so damn crowded there is no escape. Music coming from 3 or 4 different places at once is common. Cars honk more in China, with more bikes and pedestrians and accidents. The red light is often taken as a suggestion to maybe slow down a little.

Well, I guess most of us come from relatively quiet places...

Not sure why, just felt like commenting on these obvious things.
