Sup dudes
I'm not in Korea so availability there isn't relevant. I bought a DS the other day through boredom and Im loving it. I got GTA and Pro Evo6, and wanna get stuck into expanding my collection.
So any recommendations? I havent owned a games console in at least 3 years so am utterly clueless. Also, why are so many games aimed at retarded 12 year-olds? Anyway, cheers |

It depends on what kind of games you like. There are several good rpgs if you're into those. I really enjoyed Space Invaders Extreme and Retro Game Challenge.
ds.ign.com - you can check them for reviews. |

| Google 'R4 chip' and read about it. You can test out whichever games you want. |

Go with the Cyclo DS Evolution. The reason is this: new firmware updates every few weeks. My brother has an R4 and can't play the newest games a lot of the time. Also, I like the interface a lot better. I think it's generally much higher rated than the R4 as well. I love it. |

I've had an R4 for about three years, and it works fine with all the games i've tried. Occasionally the ds doesn't recognise it, or the unit crashes, but an NES-style gentle blow into the cartridge slot seems to do the trick. It's an old card, so there are probably better mor stable cards on the market, but I <3 my R4! |

Hopefully you live in one of those countries. |

Holla! My mom loves my DS and wants one of her own, so I am going to bring her back one. If I need to replace the R4/TT card in the US, now I know where to get it. Thanks! |

| My GF had to order our R4 off the net - at the time we bought our DS they'd just made chips illegal in SK. Looking online is probably your best bet for any chip, if you are in Korea...but some places might still stock them, if you're lucky. |

| I really like Hotel Dusk:room 205. Mystery/puzzle game with lots of reading. Professor Layton was pretty good too if you like logic/critical thinking puzzles. Geometry Wars is a really simple, old school style shooting game that I found pretty addictive. |

YES! All three are great. I also like Rhythm Heaven and Wario Ware--some twitch/timing games. |

I love word games, so Boggle + Scrabble are cool. There's NYT crossword puzzles you can download. I recently got a cool Sherlock Holmes game, but I haven't finished it yet. If you like games like Bejeweled, there's Zoo Keeper.
Also, I know I asked about this before, but I am dying to find it: Katamari Damacy! If anyone knows where I can download it, PLEASE let me know! |

Pretty much every single DS game is on that website. Just sign up for an account, use a junk e-mail address (although I used my main e-mail and have never received anything related to the site). Completely free, no spyware or adware on the site. I love it. |
