I may be getting a job in Gangwon-do and I am currently a teacher in Gyeongnam-do. The problem I'm having is that the Gangwon-do job starts immediately after my last day of school in Gyeongnam and therefore I would not have time to go home and visit friends and family. That means I'll be missing out on free airfare home and as I understand it I might miss out on any sort of bonus whatsoever for the new contract as well.
Is there any way to avoid this? How can I go about getting SOMETHING out of them when they are saving two ways airfare by forcing me to stay in country? One way of airfare (in money) would be enough to make me happy, but it seems I might have no recourse in the matter. I'm not sure. |

| i have no idea about the leeway they give you with stuff like that, but I would try to arrange a paid for flight home during a vacation time. Its the least they can do really. |
