Since EPIK and TALK are affiliated programs, is it possible to switch over due to the contract situation? I would like to have a 6-month contract (and possible extension afterward), as opposed to the fixed 1-yr EPIk offers. Has anyone tried this?

Are you doing this mid-stream?

Certainly you'd need new visa paperwork and a visa run.

Is it worth it?

Just re-sign at your school and give 30 days notice before the 6th month mark.

What would you want to take a lower-pay TaLK job?

The Talk program is good for people who want time off to travel and such. You only teach in the afternoon (at least the teacher here did). I wouldn't mind it now. I could spend more time on studying and practicing the guitar.

Was wondering where you are placed?

Also, I want to do this to have more time for other things, and if I enjoy I can always extend or change while in Korea. Thats what I was thinking... is TALK program also completely full like EPIk right now? Anyone know? Thank you!

Not currently working in Korea, but because of grad school, I might have to leave early and did not want to go thru the hassle and guilt of just abandoning the program midway... what happens if u leave midway in EPIK?
