|
I'm planning to back pack Asia for 6 months after contract.
I work for CDI. I asked them to pay me the 1,000,000won for return flight, they won't.
What I'm asking is, how can I book a flight I can cancel with out paying ahead of time?
or
How easy is it to get an airline to refund MOST of your money?
Any other helpful advice would be appreciated!
thanks in advance! |

You need to book a ticket that is 100% refundable. These are a bit more expensive than regular flights, but if you will be getting all the money back then I guess it really doesn't matter. |

Thanks for the quick reply!
Do you know if all airlines offer a fully refundable ticket, or which ones out of Korea do? |

Think it all depends on the type of tix it is not necessarily the airline.. Lot of time if you have to pay right away, they're not refundable. You'll have to ask your agents when inquiring.. Might be hard finding 100% refundable tix as usually you have to pay some kinda change fee. But those vary in prices as well... |

I think you also need to realize that most schools don't let you pick the ticket they buy. They pick the ticket, in other words the cheapest ticket they can find. For one of my coworkers who went home between contracts with the same school that meant they booked him into standby. |
