I'm going to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia at the end of the month for 4 days. Where is the best place to exchange Korean won to Malaysia ringgits? At Incheon airport, at the airport in Malaysia, or at a bank here in Korea before I leave?

Also, does anyone have an idea of how much money (in won) I should bring for just 4 days? I'll be staying in a hotel that is RM 128 per night (3 nights).

Thanks for any replies!

Buy a few ringit at Incheon so you have some when you land.

Take the rest of your money as US$ in $100 notes and exchange them as you need them when you get there.

The convenience factor will far outweigh the financial loss you will incur (less than man won per million).
