Hi,

I'm selling a Crafter KAB-44 that I purchased new in Seoul about a year and a half ago. The bass came fretted, but I had them removed. The guy did a great job, and this bass is capable of producing some round warm tones. This instrument is quite playable and enjoyable considering that it comes from the lower pricing tiers of basses. If you're into jazz or other acoustic music, this is a great way to practice at home without an amp. I have gigged regularly with this instrument and have enjoyed the subtle growl, yet full body that emanates when it is plugged in.

Asking price: 200,000 won
This includes a gig bag, strap, and a small patch cable.

Manufacturer info on the bass

Thanks for looking.

Is this just a way to avoid lugging a huge standup bass around?

I have a Fender Fretless Jazz bass back home. Playing without frets is an enjoyable experience and one has to consider that a double bass isn't just huge and difficult to take care of, its also incredibly expensive.
I have never tried playing a guitar where the frets were removed, nor have I tried an acoustic bass but if you are interested in Jazz bass or just something a bit different and slightly more challenging than a fretless bass is the way to go.
