|
|
Does anyone know? I live near Jukjeon junction, about a 6 minute walk from Emart, and I haven't been able to find it on the internet. I assume there must be one in Jukjeon, but maybe that's a bad assumption.
If someone could give me an address (korean or English), or a bus route, or the bus stop name, or something, I'd appreciate it. |

Hey Aus, there's a pretty huge post office between the Lotte Mart and the main intersection in Suji. I'm sure there's got to be another post office closer to you. If not or you can't find one, take bus #1, 11, or 81 from Jukjeon Station and go ONE stop. You'll be dropped off outside the Lotte Mart where you should see the post office across the bridge (toward the main intersection).
If you need more info, PM me and i'll send you a map. |

Well, here's the map
You can see Jukjeon Station on the right side, and if you follow the 43 West, you'll see that Suji Post Office I'm talking about. However, looking at the map you'll see right across the street from the station is the Jukjeon Branch. |

Thanks for the reply. I'm aware of the Suji post office, I helped a friend ship her boxes of clothes before she moved back to Canada. It is a bit far, further than I'd like to go when I need to ship something. I have a friend that lives in the opposite direction, about a 10-minute bus ride, and she lives right by a post office so if I had to go to one further away I'd probably go to that one. Thanks for the help, though, and the map, I love google maps. BTW, did you know you can get bus routes on it? |

Yeah I heard about the bus routes but never figured it out.. how can I enable it?
Anyway, what I was trying to point out before is that there's a post office across the street from Jukjeon Station, so no need to go to the one near your friend or the Suji location. |

Oh, my bad, I didn't even finish reading your post. Thanks, that's great. That's probably a 12 minute walk from me.
I didn't have to enable anything on the maps, I just found where I live (the area's too new so the address doesn't work right), and made it my default location. Now, when I need directions I just type in where I want to go and it shows me a couple bus routes, sometimes the subway. Check this out: http://tinyurl.com/mlz9js. I just got directions from my apt to Kyobo Tower, and this is what popped up.
Sometimes you can type it in English (like Jukjeon library), sometimes in Romanized Korean (Jukjeon Doseogwa), and sometimes in Korean itself to get it to find the address. |

Emart<->Jukjeon 1-dong post office
(1) go to 29230 (across from Jukjeon Rodeo)
(2) take 116 green bus (available every 20-25 min')
(3) get off Nedeji Village 5-danji (7th bus stop)
(4) go to the post office across from 'GS25'
distance: 2.074 km
total required time: 7 min'
I wish above info proves useful.
