I work in a public school, so only my co-teacher can understand and speak English. She's ace, but she's abit of a technophobe and doesn't really understand what I'm trying to convey regarding the internet.

I've been using (stealing) my neighbour's Wi-Fi, but now that connection directs me to Megapass. There is only one other network available and I'm worried that will become unavailable soon. However, I *think* I might already have the internet, I'm just not using it. I was given an LG phone a couple of days into my arrival and a router was waiting for me at my school desk. I plugged it all in, but nothing happened, so I just gave it back to the school. I've since found a yellow ethernet cable, plugged it into the wall and my laptop and I'm directed to an LG web-site. It's in Korean, but I'm suspecting it's asking for a username and password.

What would be the best way to find out if I'm entitled to LG internet and what my username/password is?

You don't officially have internet unless you're receiving bills for it every month.

Well I have a phone which I haven't received bill for, yet (I've only been here 2 weeks). I know they can come in packages, so maybe I'm entitled to the internet and I don't know it? Thought I'd put the question out there, as I know a couple of people just moved into their place and the internet was alreadyavailable.

On a side note, if I haven't got it. What is required to order the internet? I don't have an ARC/Passport for the next couple of weeks, as I'm applying for my ARC.

The usual deal is that your employer will set up your internet connection.

The equipment might be there, but it's likely that no current contract is in place, so your connection is turned off by the ISP. The webpage you're being directed to is likely telling you to contact them if you have a problem or want a connection set up.
