I put MP3 files onto my miniSD card and put it into my new cell phone, but I can't play the files on the MP3. It doesn't recognize the MP3 files even though they are clearly on the miniSD.

Anyone know what to do? Do I have to convert them first?

I got the card to work with the photos, so it's not a problem with the card.

Thanks.

It might help if you tell the phone's brand, model, and which carrier you're using.

Most Korean phones play .skm files not .mp3 files. you will need to convert them in order to play on your phone.

For me, I had to download Melon Player and their software allows you to do the conversion.

I have a Samsung Anycall SPH-C2250 with LGT... same problem.

Did you format the card on the phone? After I did that, I was able to transfer images, but when I copy MP3s into the MP3 folder, my phone doesn't recognize them. I was wondering if they have to be converted... but on the phone it clearly says "MP3 Player"... Confused

The files need to be coverted to .dcf or .skm files. I'm not sure which one.

I used Melon player a while back to convert my MP3s. I'm pretty sure foreigners can sign up for Melon Player.[/i]

I've finally got it working.

For my Samsung SPH-S5350 I had to download Anycall PC Manager Plus. It downloaded a driver also, I think.

I got nearly all of it done myself, but ended up taking my laptop to the phone shop where I bought the phone and he was very helpful.

Once you download and connect your phone, click on the music symbol (on PC Manager Plus) which opens up AnycallMusic, then you can drag and drop to the list spot. Then select files to put on your phone, and click the circle on the right that says, "전송". That will put it on your phone (be patient as it takes a little time before it starts). Try with a single file first.

You can choose the phone memory 내장 or external 외장 if you put a microSD card in your phone.

I hope this helps.

did u make sure to turn on the "pc connection mode" or w/e on the phone, on?

if u did you can also try reinstalling the program. and anycall has a new software program called pc studio, try using that instead if you arent already
