What are the best banks to do business with here (least fees, web access, easy transfers, someone that speaks English)? I have American bank accounts that I would like to transfer money to each month. I don't want to spend a lot on fees and I'd like to be able to do it online. I do this all the time between my American accounts. Any suggestions? |

Move to a different country...
Sorry, not helpful. I've been doing a lot of banking lately and getting frustrated with the shoddy treatment we get as foreigners.
Apparently Kookmin will let you transfer money overseas at a bank machine. They won't let me get an international debit card though. |

Standard Chartered and KEB are the more "foreigner friendly" banks here |

It also depends a lot on the branch. If you're in Seoul, try the Itaewon branches first. |
