When I got my E-2 in 06 and 07, I automatically received an "M" for entries. This time I got an S. I thought Americans automatically got multiple re-entry permits. Anyway, I obviously don't intend on not leaving SK for a year, so how would I go about getting a multiple re-entry visa? |

As an American if you get a visa extension your multiple entry visa isn't carried over. You need to pay for a new one. It's really easy to do it online on the g4f site. |

Its me again I just go my visa extended a year to work at the same school. I paid 80 thou instead of 30 and got a multiple reentry visa. Application #34 has a place you can check single or multiple, also I heard you can do it on immigrations website, but I haven't looked. |

Sounds like you got hosed when you got the visa.. did you do it in a third country? Maybe they weren't up on the rules. Or if you did it in the States, maybe it was some new clown at the embassy that f-ed it up for you. |

Yeah, it was done in the states. LA embassy. Maybe they saw my old E-2 visas in my passport and got confused? Oh well, I guess it's a minor inconvenience in the end. I'll worry about it when it's vacation time.
EDIT: Results are in. They told me they give single-entry visas to public school teachers. I'm sure someone on here will be quick to contradict that |
