I think fromtheuk should start a blog. I find him to be both entertaining and rational.

I just started a blog. There isn't much yet...but then again, I'm not in a Korea yet, so what do you expect?

That said, if I search for "daejeon blog" on google, the top result is a blog that hasn't been updated for 2 years...with a bit of a work and shameless self promotion, I could make my blog the most popular blog about Daejeon!

It's a work in progress, but stay tuned! I plan to write a post about my college town (Minneapolis) in a few days before I leave for my parents house...but it will probably be of more interest to my friends.

All your blogs are great.

Much better than mine.

I had this idea of a blog that basically just tells the truth from day to day. I did this. I did that. You get the idea.

No politics. No pictures. No this and no that. Just a point a to point b kind of blog.

Pretty boring, huh?

I don't want to give commentary because I'm too stupid to give advice.

Man, that's false advertising. I didn't see one ghetto booty--Korean or otherwise.

And I was looking.

Thanks, Rob. Rolling Eyes If the OP is a foreign teacher in Korea he/she won't enjoy the anti-teacher comments on Marmots Hole.

OP, the best blogs are-

http://briandeutsch.blogspot.com/
This blog will keep you up-to-date with issues that matter to foreign teachers. Plus, it also makes interesting ( Laughing ) comments about Korean Pop culture. Above it, it's about raw honesty. Some can't handle that. If you can, you'll enjoy it.

http://rokdrop.com/
If you want to keep up-to-date about US military issues and the REAL political situations in both North and South Korea, this is a blog you should read. Other "political" blogs pale in comparison. Again, this is the raw truth about what's happening on the peninsula. Plus, they post some great links to other sites that "fill in the blanks" in case you need more information about a topic.

http://koreabeat.com/
Finally, this is a GREAT blog for covering the Korean media. It's the REAL DEAL- think you can handle it? Then, check it out.
