Hi all,
I'm sure a similar question has been answered befoer and I used the search function but none of the posts I found seemed to give me the exact information I was looking for.
Basically I'm coming to Seoul to study at Sogang FLI for one semester. I was told by the consulate that I do not need a D-4 visa if I am studying for only one semester. I'm undecided if I will study more than one semester but IF I decide to continue, can I get a D-4 visa in Seoul? An earlier poster said she did it but she was from the U.S. The consulate here hasn't been much help as one yahoo said I could. Then another consulate employee said I couldn't and I must do it in the country of origin.
Another question is insurance. I studied abroad in Europe before and it was much better when I took out insurance in those countries as a student. I'm wondering if anyone has taken out insurance while studying in Soeul. Samsung insurance for example?
Thanks to anyone who replies!
