Is there anyone around Yongsan or Technomart that does small form factor PCs? If so how are the prices here in Korea? Any websites I can look at?

I want one because they're better value than notebooks and pretty portable.

Why not just go to Yongsan and look around. Many vendors in many different locations in Yongsan will sell you a small-footprint tower.

Koreans call them 'slim' = "슬림".

I used to build Shuttle SFF PC's back home.

They were kinda pointless because even though the PC was small, you still had to contend with a bunch of wires, keyboard/mouse, monitor, speakers, etc... when you took it places.

I think SFF are good PC's for a living room.

I also think the mini-PCs are more aesthetic than the giant boxes back home. You are in luck because they are easy to find here. Try to buy a fairly good one that you will not need to expand or change later on, as they are a little more difficult to upgrade because of the space inside.

The previous poster is right that you will still have to contend with the same wires and connectors. You might look at the Sony VAIO or similar local imitators which build the computer into the monitor. My wife has one and you cannot really add to it, but it of course takes USB appliances and it is deadly easy to set up; plug it in and that is it.
