In the context of a standard hagwan position:

Is it possible to use your frequent flyer miles to get to Korea instead of purchasing a ticket, and still get paid for the equivalent value?

Relatedly, what documentation is usually required for the actual reimbursement?

I couldn't find any answers using the google eslcafe search.

what he said. although you could try negotiating a raise if you opt to use your miles for a flight.

You might be able to arrange something...but you need the school to agree upon a price BEFOREHAND and stipulate that exact price in your contract. Make it very clear that you are getting $X in lieu of a flight to Korea but that you will still get a flight home at contract's end.

Save the miles, you might need them to do a 'runner' depending on how horrible your school is.
