|
|
I need a pad thing to put on my bed. Then the bed sheet would go over it. I'm not even sure what it is called in English. Haha. Mattress pad or mattress cover? You know, western style. There's the mattress, then on the mattress you put the thing I want, then a sheet to cover that, then a sheet that you put over you, then a comforter thing...
What is this in Korean? I keep looking for it but the things I find have all these designs on them (unnecessary) and no bands on the corners to put over the mattress corners to hold it in place (necessary).
Thanks. |

Sorry I can't help you except to bump this with my reply.
I am interested because I am in America for summer break and just bought a mattress pad to bring back to Korea with me. So really curious if they exist in Korea or not. |

| They don't exist. My girlfriend was buying them here in the states because, if they do exist in Korea, she said they're probably really expensive. |

| Also I think a mattress pad/topper and cover are different. A mattress topper/pad is to try to make the bed more comfy, and a mattress cover is usually something washable to prevent various (lol) liquids getting into the mattress, or for people with allergies. |

| Homeplus has what you're after (the sheet with elastic on the corners), a British brand, nice cotton, simple colors. |

Yep, Homeplus has both Matress Pads and normal bedsheets (the stretchy ones that fit snug on the matress).
Don't worry about what they're called in Korean because the names are also written in English on the packaging, I think.
Homeplus is basically Tescos, lacking in many home products, but the important stuff, like bedding, you can easily find here. Don't bother bringing your own, it takes up a lot of room. |

Costco has some really nice ones, but they're pricey (200,000 won).
