The first two places I checked out had 20 somethings as tenants, and we had to wake them. It was 11am. So I started keeping count in my head. 13 apartments (my feet hurt), 8 tenants home, 6 had to be awakened. This was from 11am to 2pm on a weekday.
Thanks for paying for my apartment and everything else, daddy. Or... hm... ladies of the night... most were girls and most were tappable. |

That's how this country rolls. Very few earn their wealth. |

i'd argue that the "ladies of the night" more than earn their wealth. |

You and I disagree on the meaning of wealth. |

You'd be amazed at how many girls work in these type of venues...not saying full blown prostitutes but drink/conversation bars are everywhere...and you'd be even more surprised how much bank these girls make. |

Too bad they have to trade in the possibility of ever getting married, or having anything to depend on when they pass age 40.
There's a reason why the Korean word for prostitute is literally "a woman who sells her spring." She's making a living off her youth at the expense of her future.
But yeah, there are a lot of young people, especially women, who don't have full-time jobs in this country and can be found at home at 11 AM on a weekday. Your findings do not surprise me at all. |

You're not young nor a girl so I wouldn't guess you're a hooker. I would bet half the girls I woke up with the real estate agent, however, were. |

Nice observations, OP. What that means is that around the times when YOU want to sleep, those boys and girls will al be awake, practicing their tap dance routines, golf putt, moving furniture, having loud conversations, and generally slamming doors every ten to fifteen minutes. Best to move into a building where NOBODY is home when you wouldn't be (weekends don't count). |

he didn't deserve to be referred to as an "A-hole."
If you want to call him lazy cos he got up at 1pm (which is NOT a sign of laziness in my opinion) then fair enough, but a-hole was uncalled for. |

Does the OP realise that most Universities are on vacation?
I for one, seldom got up early during my vacation, and I'd bet most of the girls mentioned by the OP are University students on vacation.
Or,
We are in a recession, people are looking for a job...maybe these girls are unemployed?
Or,
Perhaps they work in a field which keeps late hours (other than that...)- Hagwons, restaurant staff, nursing, barwork, hotel staff the list goes on...
Sure, one or two of them may be involved in some 'dubious' work, but to assume that the majority of 20 something girls who are at home/asleep in the late morning/afternoon are hookers (and variations thereof) says alot more about you, than it does about them... |
