Playing Korean Bought Games on American Wii?

OK, I tried searching, but man this is confusing.
I bought a Wii in America last month. Next week I am going to Korea and taking it. I want to get the balance board and Wii fit, but the board is too heavy, so I want to buy it in Korea.
In Korea, does the Wii Balance Board come with Wii Fit like in America?
If I buy Wii Fit in Korea, will it run on my American bought Wii?
Will it be in English?

Then there is the whole other issue of mod chip, firmware, software update, zone, brick ... Jeezz, I sure didn't want to have to be an Nintendo Engineer just to play some games in English.

Thanks for any help,
Drew

Korea is NTSC, just like the states. I have a modded Wii, which seem to be more popular in Korea, so they can play burnt games. From what I've bought here, Wii accessories are cheaper here than back home. Bought a nunchuck and classic controller for under $12/ea. new

I'd suggest buying it here, then softmodding your Wii and downloading the NTSC version of Wiifit. You'd practically have the rights to it if you've ponied up for the Korean version. It is a confusing scene though, lot's of semi-conflicting information. I modded mine via Zelda with the 3.2 firmware, but that's been blocked now. This:

might help.

mil above says you have a modded wii. Is that an American Wii that you moded there or a Korean Mii (that you modded there)?

It seems that maybe I should return my American Wii game (think I have 90 days) and just buy a modded Wii in Korea. Is that easier than bringing an American Wii. Then I guess the top menu is in Korean but the game menus are in English? Is that right? Ultimately I want to play the snowboard games with the ballance board though, that looks really cool.

I bought the game for fun, not for headache, thinking about just returning it and scrapping the idea.

Thanks, Drew
