So I have 7 days of summer camp left this term and then I am a free man for almost three weeks. Im looking to travel around Korea and was wondering if you kind people would be able to recommend some good destinations. If you could tell me why you would recommend the place that would be great. |

I have a feeling that there are some similar threads up on Dave's.
I know that many would recommend Jeju, I haven't been there.
Jinhae is pretty during cherry blossom season, which certainly isn't now.
If you're a beach person, Busan is always a fun place to hit up.
There's Geoje and Tongyeong if you're looking for some nice scenery and a place to drive around.
Heinsa is a good day trip if you like temples. |

I just did a nice weekend in Miryang. You can get there by the KTX and then find the bus heading for Pyochungsa. All along that road are a multitude of free camping, swimming holes, hiking trails, minbak, little country restaurants, dongdongju brewers, and then Pyochungsa at the end. The temple in the late evening is especially wonderful. |
