Just wanted to say a big hello to anyone who happens to be teaching in Gumi. I am leaving Edmonton in the last week of February to teach there. If you happen to teach there let me know and we could go for a drink.

I've been to Kumi. Nothing there. It ought to make Edmonton look like Utopia in comparison. Good luck.

I was there once during the Daegu Universiade when the Canadian soccer team was playing.

Waiting 30 minutes in the rain for a taxi.... had to find the number for and call a taxi company to get a cab, and this was while waiting on a major street.

Good luck indeed! Smile

P.S. Hope you don't like sports, as there's no teams in Gumi other than their volleyball club, and they just had their one-week of home matches wrap up a few days ago.
