The Wonder Girls, South Korea's pop sensation now active in the United States, made a successful appearance on a U.S. TV talk show on Monday with hit song ``Nobody.''
The five-member girl band sang the song in English on the daytime Wendy Williams Show in New York and drew a standing ovation. The members enthralled the spectators by wearing the same clothes as in South Korea. The producers also created a stage similar to that from the music video of the song.
The talk show Web site was plastered with postings invariably praising the Wonder Girls' performance. One of the postings said, `` I love the Wonder Girls! Thanks Wendy for having them on your show. I love you and the Wonder Girls. I love watching your show and I also hope everyone will support the Wonder Girls debut in America.''
Park Jin-young, CEO of JYP Entertainment, the group's agency, was quoted as saying, ``They killed it! They always deliver in crunch time.''
Other Wonder Girls hit songs include ``Tell Me'' and ``So Hot.'' The five members are Sun, Yenny, Mimi, Sohee and Yubin.
The Wendy Williams Show was created by Emmy Award-winning producer Rob Dauber and made its debut on July 13, 2009, covering celebrity interviews, cooking segments, and the latest beauty and fashion trends. |

| Yes they did get a standing ovation but, on Wendy Williams the commercial break gets a standing ovation. |

She was known as a sort of loud mouth shock jock slash gossip columnist on the radio.

And by "known" I mean only to people who follow hip-hop radio personalities. I had seen her mentioned on MTV a few times a couple years ago, but that was it.
But, since it's trendy to have loud black women do talk shows---Oprah, Tyra Banks---might as well have her I guess. |

| someone needs to get in touch with Wendy Williams' people. I'm sure they could get a handphone commercial in korea now, at least. And if she invites Rain over, she could join hiddink in the Samsung commercials. |

D'aww, I'm so proud of my girls. :') They looked hilarious standing next to Wendy, though... woman is a giant.

She was a dishing dirt radio DJ morning host in NY before she got her own show. Basically Oprah with a bad wig for the Jerry Springer audience.
When is 2NE1 going to take over Jimmy Kimmel? I will wait in line for that show. |
