A few years back I found some in a pharmacy along the main walkway in Insadong.
...not sure if they would still have some, though.
The Red Door in Itaewon might have some. |

Are you sure it is illegal here - if it is illegal why?? its a naturally occuring body hormone with almost NO side effects..
My doctor also recommended it to me - instead of sleeping pills..
He told me there is no need for a prescription - to just go to any pharmacy and ask for it...
I haven't tried yet - forgot about it - until I read this post... |

I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know if you let me know. Also, what is the Korean name? Same as English?

I'm not sure about that. I bought it 4 weeks ago in the Incheon airport pharmacy. |

OK - If anyone know the "Name" and exact location of Melatonin - please put it on here..
I went to a couple of Pharmacies and a HUGE vitamin shop today - and was repeatedly told - that it is not available in Korea..
so if you know where it is available - please post it... |

I saw Melatonin at Hannam market, in the small shop just inside the entrance. It was a western brand that I recognized. I want to say it was about 15K for a bottle... |

I asked a korean physician about it and she told me they do have it in Korea and it is sold under the English name of Melatonin. She thought that it would be available in a regular pharmacy, but apparently not...
It is legal in Korea. |
