I'm SURE this has been discussed before but using the search function here is as useful as asking any of my co-workers..... anything.
Does anybody know where i could get a rowing machine? I'm happy to get one on-line but is there an english website somewhere? I've prayed to the google god to no avail.
Alternatively (preferably), any second dealers around? I'm in pohang but i get around the southern bits of this majestic country (filled with happiness and joy) fairly often.
I really don't want to resort to a korean gym..... |

Goodluck with that too. I havn't seen a Korean gym that has a rowing machine anyways. Too bad too as rowing is my fav. way to warm up as it warms the whole body up.

how much do they cost?
Also, what are your goals? Are you in Korea long term
A power rack, barbell, weights, a bench and a rowing machine and you have all the equipment you need. Probably would pay for itself in gym membership fees after several years anyways |

I brought my concept 2 over by plane. Sure the hell cheaper than paying through the nose here (about 2.9 million for a machine vs 1,000,000 in Canada or U.S.). I payed $34 dollars for oversized luggage. Put it in a box, long and wrapped up. Take the flywheel on as carry on. You just need a large nylon bag for it. I used a chanel one and nobody asked questions even though it must have weighed about 20 kilos.
Just make sure you have some tools and know how to put it all back together. I spent some time on the phone with the guys from Vermont. They were kind as ever.
Cheers,
DD
