| Hey guys I will be headed to Gyeongbuk next month for EPIK and I wanted to get in contact with other EPIK new EPIK teachers placed in Gyeongbuk and the ones that are there now. Does anybody have any information about the province or any advice to share? |

| What specifically do you want to know? I've lived in Gyeongbuk for a year and a half, first in a deeply rural area and now in a city next to Daegu. |

Much of Gyeongbuk is wonderful. I think the best places in Gyeongbuk are among the very best rural places in the entire country. That said, compared to other provinces in Korea, Gyeongbuk's EPIK is singularly awful. |

What is there to do in Gyeongbuk in your free time? I know living in a rural area is extremely different from the city. I don't want to have to rely on commuting to Daegu every time I want something to do on a Friday or Saturday night. Oh! How is transportation between Gyeongbuk and Daegu? |
