				| The website for the e-visa for Cambodia has been down the last few times I checked (http://www.mfaic.gov.kh).
Has anyone used a different site recently with any success, or am I out of luck?

I've read that visas at the border take longer and are more expensive.

 Thanks.

				| Yeah it's screwed up right now and is likely to be so for a while. Getting a visa on arrival is marginally more expensive, but at like 20USD it's not going kill your budget. From what I noticed, it took people without an e-visa maybe five extra minutes. It'll be fine. | |

Actually, it is the other way around. The visa at the border is $20. The e-visa is $25. It is cheaper at the border. However, the problem that you will face is difficulties with corrupt border officials attempting to extort a larger sum of money from you. The e-visa eliminates this hassle. Stand your ground and be firm. It isn't a problem at the airports. I have managed to get it for $20 at Poipet with little problem. Koh Kong is a bit problematic, and I have given in a few times.

				| I did mine at the border. Actually Sapaco (highway bus from HCMC to Cambodia) took our passports and cash and sorted them out at the border while we waited outside. When they were completed, the passports were handed back to us. It took about 40 minutes to complete the wholebus load of tourists. | |
