can i use a second hand sk phone with a contact?

Forget SK and everyone else with the W200,000 deposit. Go to an LG store (preferably with a Korean friend), bring your passport and ARC, pay a one time W30,000 activation fee, and voila! No co-signing needed. You can choose from a variety of plans and pick up a variety of phones, new or used.

I dont know. My co teacher signed me up under her name on the first day I arrived. I had a cellphone and a great deal for 100k total. Also cheaper rates because its under a koreans name.

LG offers phones and contracts without deposits to foreigners. I got a new phone (60 000) and a monthly plan (24 000/month). they also send you your bill with english and korean versions and have an english help line to call.

click english >>> Company Information >>> How to Subscribe

PM me with an email and I can forward a description of all the different plans offered by LG.

Yes, get LG. It used to be that LG had the lowest service of the three... meaning there was no signal in many places. For the past few years, I haven't found too many places (with the exception of some elevators) where I have trouble with service.

LG has been just fine for me.

Yeah, LG. Brought a Korean friend with too and it was fairly easy.

I pay W35,000-45,000 per month depending on usage.

pre-paid costs a whole lot more than a regular one.
