Anybody have the info?? I've found conflicting stories online, some say it's $135 bucks, some say you don't even need a visa if you have an outbound flight and 6 months left on your passport.
Experienced advice would be very helpful. Thanks!! |

As a US citizen, you will be able to enter Taiwan for 30 days visa free. Taiwan immigration will just stamp your passport upon arrival.
If you want to stay longer as a tourist (for example 90 days), you will have to apply for a visa from the nearest T.E.C.O. That will cost you about $US135. |

Just a note, you must have the address and phone number of where you're staying to enter Taiwan. They have been stricter on this requirement because of the swine flu. Before you could get away with just the hotel name and city, but now they want the full address. |

Just went last month. No visa required. You get 30 days at entry. Have fun. |
